On Monday night, my cousin’s teen daughters, Solana and Maya, lost their home.
It burned to the ground.
Literally.
I am beyond grateful Solana and Maya and their mother Stefanie are okay. But they need, well —

I was disturbed I managed to lose the music machine’s science fiction controlling device in a loft — a loft doesn’t have many places to lose something in. I was more disturbed my impulse to look in the fridge and wine opener drawer found it.
